Questions parents ask

Getting in

How do I get an invite?

Ask a parent who uses HQ: any parent can send another family an invite from Settings → Invite another family. There's no public sign-up.

Is it free?

Yes. No ads, nothing to buy, no subscription.

How do I sign in?

With your Google account, or with a 6-digit code sent to your email. There's no password to remember.

Can my partner join?

Yes. In Settings → Family → Add someone, choose Parent and send them the link. It works once.

Your data

Who can see our data?

Only the parents and nannies in your family. Nannies don't see health records, uploads or travel documents. Pratik, who runs HQ, sees counts only, not your records: the privacy page lists exactly what.

Where is it kept?

On Cloudflare, whose servers may be outside India. It's encrypted on the way and where it's stored.

What if we stop using it?

Settings → Export everything gives you your records, and a .zip with every upload. Then Settings → Delete our family deletes it all straight away. Backups keep a copy for up to about 3 months, then it's gone for good.

Is it medical advice?

No. The doses are the ones your family enters. Check them with your pediatrician, and when in doubt, call the doctor.

Every day

Can the nanny use it?

Yes. You make her a login code in Settings → Family; she types it once on her phone, no email needed. She sees packing, the emergency card, medicines, sizes, the lists and the calendar, with Hindi or Bengali under the English. She doesn't see health records, uploads or travel documents.

Which phones does it work on?

Any iPhone or Android phone, in the browser. Put it on your home screen and it opens like an app: on iPhone, Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, Chrome → ⋮ → Add to home screen.

Does it work without signal?

The emergency card and the packing list open without signal, and so do travel documents saved on your phone.

Can it go in our phone's calendar?

Yes. Settings → Calendar adds vaccines due, doctor visits, classes, trips and passport reminders to Google or iPhone Calendar, and keeps them up to date. Family events are added in HQ.

How many kids?

Up to eight in a family.

Can we add our pets?

Yes. In Settings → Pets, add a dog, cat or any other pet. They get their own section at the bottom of Home: a pet card with the vet to call and the microchip number, vaccines and vet visits (due ones go into your calendar), and their documents. HQ never works out medicine doses for pets. Only parents see pets.

Something else?

email hello@superkidshq.com, or ask the person who invited you. Once you're in, Settings → Send feedback reaches us directly.
